The note says: When there is no contrast the “form” is flat and no design - there is nothing.
When there is “total” contrast the “form” is flat and there is a design there is a composition
(”total” contrast being only black and white and no grays)
Done after seeing a Henry Moore exhibition of small sculptures and drawings & some of the imagery is based on the news images from Viet Nam.
