I ran into Larry Bell in the mid-1980’s in Fort Worth, Texas.  He was installing his exhibition and since I wasn’t going to be there when the exhibition opened I took the opportunity to introduce myself.  He was quite gracious… and through the late Walter Hopps we had a few mutual acquaintances.
